Terms of Service
These Terms govern your booking and use of chauffeured ground transportation provided by OhareRides, a service of Guru Pro Data, Inc (DBA oharerides.com). By booking a ride you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
OhareRides provides licensed pre-arranged chauffeur service in the greater Chicago metropolitan area, including transfers to and from O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW). All trips are pre-arranged livery — we do not accept street hails.
2. Booking and confirmation
A booking is requested when you submit the form on our website and is confirmed when we send a confirmation message. Until confirmation, no contract exists. Pickup must be scheduled at least 2 hours in advance.
3. Pricing
Rates shown at booking are flat-rate, all-inclusive of standard gratuity, fuel surcharge, and meet-and-greet at the airport. Tolls are included in the quoted price. Minimum fares apply by vehicle class. Holiday and night premiums are calculated automatically and shown on the quote. No surge pricing.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We may authorize a hold on your card at the time of booking and capture the final amount after the trip is complete. You authorize OhareRides to charge the amount displayed at confirmation, including any agreed extras.
5. Cancellations and changes
Cancellations and changes are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Summary: full refund >4 hours before pickup, 50% charge 2-4 hours before, full charge <2 hours or no-show. Severe weather and verified flight cancellations are no-charge.
6. Customer responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate pickup details, be ready at the agreed time, and not transport prohibited items (drugs, weapons, hazardous materials). You are responsible for damage caused by you or your party to the vehicle beyond normal wear, including biological cleanup.
7. Liability
We carry commercial auto liability insurance as required by Illinois law. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fare paid for the trip in question, except where applicable law prohibits limitation. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including missed flights when delays are caused by weather, traffic, or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Right to refuse service
The chauffeur may refuse service to any rider who is intoxicated to a level that creates risk, abusive, or in violation of these Terms. In such cases the trip is terminated and the full fare may be charged.
9. Communications
By providing your phone number you consent to receive transactional SMS and calls related to your booking. Reply STOP to opt out of non-essential SMS. You can update communication preferences via email to the contact below.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
