Flight Tracking and Your Chicago Airport Pickup

Updated

A flight number helps identify the arrival

Enter the correct airline and flight number when arranging an airport pickup. Flight information helps coordinate the ride, but a scheduled or actual landing time is not the same as the time a passenger reaches the pickup point.

Landing, bags and customs are separate steps

After landing, you may still need to reach the terminal, collect luggage and complete arrival formalities. These steps vary between flights and passengers. Tell dispatch when you are ready for curbside pickup instead of assuming a flight status can show that you have your bags.

Update changed flights directly

If you are rebooked, diverted or arrive at a different terminal, contact dispatch with the new details. Check that the booking now identifies the correct airport and flight. Do not assume a replacement flight will automatically inherit the old pickup arrangements.

Ask about waiting conditions

Flight monitoring does not mean that every delay or extended wait is free. Confirm pickup adjustments and any applicable waiting conditions with dispatch. Keep the booking reference and a working phone available. For the actual meeting point, follow the pickup instructions provided for your trip.

Check airport transfer estimates and pricing conditions, read the O’Hare and Midway pickup instructions, or get a quote for your trip. For booking changes, call 312-350-7319.
